GPSA Research Day

11th-Annual Graduate Research Day
Date: Friday, April 17, 2020
Location: Boca Raton Campus, Student Union

FAU's Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA) will host the 11th-Annual Graduate Research Day with support from the Division of Research, Division of Student Affairs, Student Government, and the Graduate College on Friday, April 17, 2020. The competition is open to graduate students from all academic disciplines, and provides them with the opportunity to present their research to esteemed faculty judges from all disciplines. The adjudicating team will select winners, who will be awarded scholarship prizes. Registration is open for all interested graduate students. The deadline to apply is March 27, 2020. Information on poster printing is available within the online application.

2019 Conference of Florida Graduate Schools

On the heels of the FAU 10th-Annual Graduate Research Day, eight of our finalists advanced to the 2019 Conference of Florida Graduate Schools (CFGS) at Florida International University on April 18, 2019. The collaborative conference and research competitions featured talented graduate students from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Florida Atlantic University, Florida Institute of Technology, Florida International University, Florida State University, University of Central Florida, University of Florida, University of Miami, University of North Florida, University of South Florida, and University of West Florida. In addition to our poster competitors, two of our champions from the 2018 FAU Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition, Kelley Jackson and Wilson McLean, also competed at the statewide 3MT® competition. All FAU students did an outstanding job competing against top graduate students state-wide; two of our poster competitors took home awards and scholarship prizes.

If you are an individual with a disability and need accommodations please register for services with Student Accessibility Services (SAS). Details on how and where to register for services can be found on the SAS website. All students must complete the Application for Support Services and submit with documentation of their disability on the online portal. SAS will process the application and contact the student to schedule an intake interview to discuss their accommodation needs. SAS requires that this information be provided at least two weeks prior to the beginning of your Graduate College Meeting, so that we have sufficient time to set up the accommodations requested.
